2 General Information

2.1 Scope of the processing of personal data

Personal data is generally processed only to the extent necessary to provide a website and all its functions.

2.2 Legal basis

Where the processing of personal data requires the consent of the data subject, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For the processing of personal data for the performance of a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Existing legal obligations (e.g. statutory retention obligations) to which we are subject also serve as a legal basis for the processing of personal data.

Furthermore, data may be processed for the protection of a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests and fundamental rights of the data subject do not override those interests.

3 Log Files on the Web Server

3.1 Description of data processing

Each access to our website is automatically logged in so-called log files on the web server. This is a measure carried out by the technical operators of the web server for operational security and error identification. IP addresses of users are also stored, but only in anonymized form. Therefore, no personal data is processed. Log files are deleted after seven days unless they are required for a longer period to clarify security-related incidents. A data processing agreement in accordance with the GDPR has already been concluded with our hosting partner. The web servers of our hosting partner are located in Austria; no data is transferred to third parties or third countries.

3.2 Legal basis

No personal data is processed.

3.3 Rights of data subjects

The creation and storage of log files is necessary for the provision of the website. It is therefore not possible to object to this automated process.

4 Cookies

4.1 Description of data processing

Our website does not use permanently stored cookies but only so-called session cookies. These are automatically deleted when you leave our website. Cookies in general are small text files that are stored on your computer.

4.2 Legal basis

The legal basis for the creation of session cookies is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4.3 Rights of data subjects

Temporary cookies are necessary for the provision of the website. In general, the creation of cookies can be prevented by changing your browser settings. However, if cookies are disabled, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

5 Direct Contact by Email

5.1 Description of data processing

If you contact us via the email address provided online, the data you provide will be stored by us solely for the purpose of processing the inquiry or message and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. If no contract results from the submission of an email inquiry or the inquiry has been conclusively processed, your data will be deleted within six months.

5.2 Legal basis

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and/or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5.3 Rights of data subjects

Unless the processing of your data is required for the performance of a contract or for compliance with legal provisions, you may request deletion at any time. To do so, please contact the person named in this statement and request the revocation of your consent to the storage and/or processing of your personal data.

6 Web Analytics

6.1 Description of data processing

Our website uses the software AWStats for access statistics. This software is installed on the server and evaluates the automatically generated log files there (see section 3). As the website operator, we have access to non-personal data only for the analysis of access statistics.

6.2 Legal basis

We do not process any personal data.

6.3 Rights of data subjects

Since the access statistics contain no IP addresses, we have no access to personal data.

7 Your Rights

You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
